“Off the Press” is an FSR series that highlights the exciting news and accomplishments of our FSR Board membership that they wish to be shared with the wider community.
- Sarojini Nadar (BFSR) has been appointed to the Desmond Tutu Research Chair in Religion and Social Justice, a position which seeks “to develop and promote advanced research that examines the way in which religious and faith traditions challenge or hold resources for social justice imperatives that produce sustainable societies.” The position is founded and supported by the National Research Foundation of South Africa.
- Sylvia Marcos (International JFSR) has recently published a chapter, “Reconceiving Rights: An Analysis on Their Declarations, Proposals and Demands” in Risks, Violence, Security and Peace in Latin America: 40 Years of the Latin American Council of Peace Research (Springer).
- Kate Ott (JFSR, Books) has published her book, Christian Ethics for a Digital Society (Rowan & Littlefield).
