Welcome to the New FSR, Inc. Website!
Welcome to the newest relaunch of the Feminist Studies in Religion, Inc. (FSR) website!
In order to make the site more user-friendly and to implement our new upcoming projects, FSR Books and the FSR Forum, we have moved to WordPress. We wish to extend our thanks to all those involved in this project, especially General Glyphics, Inc. and the Carter Center-supported interns at FSR, Inc.
Many changes have taken place since FSR, Inc.’s last website relaunch in 2011, as reflected in the new site. It is now mobile-friendly, media-interactive, and still brings you all the same features you have come to expect from us since then, like trending blogs and info on how to have your voice and scholarship heard and read. With this newest relaunch, we will soon be able to provide even more features that will respond to your needs in a digital age.
Through FSR Books, you will soon be able to submit manuscript proposals for consideration in our FSR monograph series, as well as purchase our press books in various formats at competitively low prices for both your research and classroom needs.
As part of FSR’s new organization, the FSR Forum, the website will soon house features that allow members to connect with others who are just as committed as to you are to feminism and religion in the academy and beyond it. Feminist dialogue, resource-sharing, and mentorship are just a few features that the Forum will help facilitate.
These upcoming projects will contribute to the mission of FSR, Inc. by helping it expand its digital and scholarly presence. Since its founding in 1983, FSR, Inc. has been a leader in fostering and promoting of feminist studies in religion, especially through the establishment of the Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion (JFSR) in 1985, as well as through other major public outreach projects like the FSR Blog (formerly the Feminism In Religion Forum).
Help us continue to vision and produce such quality projects by keeping connected and supporting us. Interact with us on social media by following us on Twitter and liking us on Facebook. Please also consider donating to FSR, Inc. to help support us in our efforts to increase scholarly focus on the intersections between feminism and religion.
We invite you to join us by exploring the new site and letting us know what you think!
