NEW: Searchable Index of JFSR Articles

Posted by JFSR on Nov 11, 2011

With twenty-seven volumes and counting, the Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion has published more than 100 articles, 25 roundtables, and 75 poems. On the Volumes page, the Index of all JFSR articles is now searchable.

Using the search tool on the right column of the Volumes pages, the full list of JFSR volumes can be searched. New readers can explore the Index to learn more about the kinds of scholarship the Journal publishes. Scholars and researchers can use the Index to discover what JFSR has published on a given topic. The Index can also be searched by author's name to discover what a particular scholar has published in JFSR over the years--or simply to remember the title and full citation of an article. We hope this tool can be a helpful window into the content of JFSR. Of course, full digital access to JFSR articles is available for electronic subscribers to the JFSR. Additionally, JFSR content greater than three years old can be accessed through several digital indexes including JSTOR, Project Muse, and ATLA.

As a work in progress, we hope to continue adding new content to the searchable Index including: expanding the number of article abstracts, adding abstracts in Spanish, and providing the full text of the Editor's Introductions. If you have an interest in assisting in these projects, please contact JFSR web co-editor, Stephanie May, at fsr@fsrinc.org.
