The Judges Generation: Black Church Sexual Politics in the Age of Digital Purity Culture
Abstract:
The Judges Generation crisis is, at its core, a crisis of memory. Digital purity culture thrives by replacing communal histories with curated fragments and algorithmic narratives. It succeeds by offering stability without context, identity without complexity, and belonging without liberation. Feminist and womanist scholars must help this generation recover the memories that matter. To remember memories is to reclaim the wisdom of traditions, the truth of survival, and the possibility of a liberated future.
