Off the Press: August 2019

“Off the Press” is an FSR series that highlights the exciting news and accomplishments of our FSR Board membership that they wish to be shared with the wider community.

• Carol B. Duncan (JFSR) published a chapter, “Spiritual Baptist Ritual Garments in Church and Community,” in Towards an African Canadian Art History: Art, Memory, and Resistance edited by Charmaine A. Nelson, et. al.
• Kathleen Gallagher Elkins (JFSR) was granted tenure at her institution, St. Norbert College, and starting this fall will be Associate Professor of Theology & Religious Studies.
