“Off the Press” is an FSR series that highlights the exciting news and accomplishments of our FSR Board membership that they wish to be shared with the wider community.

Stephanie Buckhanon Crowder (EFSR) will be officially welcomed as Vice-President of Academic Affairs and Academic Dean on November 7th at Chicago Theological Seminary (Election Press Release).
Grace Ji-Sun Kim (EFSR) has two new books out, The Homebrewed Christianity Guide to the Holy Spirit: Hand-Raisers, Han, and the Holy Ghost (2018) and Healing Our Broken Humanity: Practices for Revitalizing the Church and Renewing the World (co-author, 2018).
Kathleen Gallagher Elkins’s (JFSR) book Mary, Mother of Martyrs: How Motherhood Became Self-Sacrifice in Early Christianity (2018) is now available for purchase with our own very press, Feminist Studies in Religion Books!
And we wish to congratulate former Board member Michelle Voss Roberts (EFSR) on her appointment as Principal of Emanuel College (Toronto)!
