The Department of History and the Women’s and Gender Studies Program at St. Francis Xavier University invite applications for a 9-month Limited Term Position beginning September 1, 2015. The desired area of specialization is Canadian Women’s and Gender History with an ability to teach an introductory course in the Women’s and Gender Studies Program and survey courses in Pre- and Post-Confederation Canadian History. Upper level courses will be in the candidate’s area of expertise. Applicants should have a PhD in hand or have a defense scheduled and be able to show evidence of strong teaching ability at the undergraduate level.
