Off the Press (May 2021)

“Off the Press” is an FSR series that highlights the exciting news and accomplishments of our FSR Board membership that they wish to be shared with the wider community.

Kathleen Gallagher Elkins (JFSR) was awarded the Donald B. King Distinguished Scholar Award, which is the St. Norbert College annual award for excellence in scholarly research. You can also read a Special Section conversation on Kathleen’s book, Mary, Mother of Martyrs, in the newest issue of the Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion.

Oluwatomisin Oredein (Lab) won the The Louise Clark Brittan Endowed Faculty Excellence in Teaching award from her institution, Brite Divinity School. The award is given by the student body to recognize superlative teaching performance.
