Essential Functions:
The successful candidate will teach five to six classes, be in residence three quarters between September 2015 and June 2016, hold office hours and advise students, and participate in department meetings and events.
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:
A PhD required, disciplinary field and area of specialization are open. Candidates that can contribute to the required areas of the curriculum are especially encouraged to apply. These areas include queer studies, race, class, gender, global feminisms, feminist theory, gender and literature, and gender and history. Strengths in the area of race, queer studies and gender and literature will help us fill critical gaps in the curriculum next year. Teaching experience is preferred.
