Off the Press: February 2019

“Off the Press” is an FSR series that highlights the exciting news and accomplishments of our FSR Board membership that they wish to be shared with the wider community.
- Shelley Best (BFSR author) is using her ministry to curate “Audacious Agency” at Yale Divinity School. “Audacious Agency” is a “touring exhibition features an eclectic mix of unique pieces intended to spur dialogue about the urgent social, economic, political, and religious issues facing communities of color.” Best will be publishing “Soulpreneurs and Womanish Ways of Working: A Womanist Practical Theology and the Creation of the 224 EcoSpace” with FSR Books in 2019.
- Sylvia Marcos (International JFSR) has a chapter entitled “A Hermeneutics of Orality: Methodology for the Study of Orally Transmitted Religious Traditions” published in Evolution, Cognition, and the History of Religion: A New Synthesis (Brill, 2018).
- Grace Ji-Sun Kim (EFSR) wrote “They’ll Know We Are Christians by Our ‘Jeong’: Five Asian concepts that can deepen our understanding of the Holy Spirit” in Sojourner’s Magazine (February 2019).
