One-year position (with possible renewal up to three years) as Visiting Assistant Professor at Dickinson College in Women’s and Gender Studies beginning July 2015. The candidate should have the Ph.D. in Women’s and Gender Studies or another substantial qualification in the field. The ability to teach core courses in Women’s and Gender Studies as well as at all levels of the curriculum is essential. The candidate should also be able to teach topics or cross-listed courses in American Studies. Teaching experience required. The ability to create inclusive learning environments for an increasingly diverse student body will be an important characteristic of the successful candidate. Area of specialization: open.
Dickinson College is a highly selective four-year, independent liberal arts college with 2300 students.
